The CRM of the Future

Our own CRM, built in plain code and run by AI from the terminal. The goal: no call, person or promise gets lost.

One sales call left no trace. No record of the person, no note of what we'd promised, and an invoice nobody chased. Bought CRMs are good, but they would rent us the shape of our own business. So we're building our own, in our own database, and we plan to open-source it.

the stages

Every stage, with the date we promised.

Each stage gets a video. Each one shows the date we said it would ship, and the date it did.

  1. 01shipped

    Everyone in one place

The people and companies already in our files, pulled into one list by a script. 423 people, 20 companies and 435 email addresses, with no typing.

Deals that don't touch the money

A deal has a stage and an amount. Whether it's been paid lives in the accounts system, never in the CRM, so the two can't disagree.

    A call becomes a record

The code is in: a recorded sales call turns into a record of the person. But it only acts when it knows their email address. It refuses to guess, because a guess once filed one client's meeting under another client. It switches on when our new call recorder lands.

    Promises become tasks

What each side said they'd do on the call lands on the task list, with a name and a date. This is the loose end that started the whole build.
