OpsCode Notes: Voice Notes That File Themselves

A pocket recorder catches every meeting and idea. Now each one becomes a note I can find and share.

I record meetings and quick ideas on a HiDock all day. They sat on the device, and I never went back to them. So the recorder now syncs to a small server at home, not the maker's cloud. Every note is typed out with our own names spelled right, and lands in an app where I can find it and turn it into work.

Every stage, with the date we promised.

Each stage gets a video. Each one shows the date we said it would ship, and the date it did.

    Plug it in, it syncs

Plug the recorder into a tablet and new recordings copy to a small server at home. Nothing is cleared off the device until its copy checks out. The first night: 114 recordings, about 29 hours.

    The words it gets right

Every recording is typed out, with a time on each word. Our own words and people's names came out wrong. Now a glossary and an AI check fix them, and the AI looks at the calendar to see who was in the room. 'OpsCode' was misheard 50 times. Now it's none.

    An app to read them

Notes by day, week or month, a calendar that opens a meeting's notes, and search across all of them. One button hands a note to an AI agent to deal with, and the note shows when it's done.

    Share with the room

After a meeting, send the notes to the people who were in it. They get a branded PDF and an email in my own voice. I read it and approve it in the app before it goes.

    Sorted by itself

A long recording often holds three different things. Each part is cut out and filed where it belongs. Personal parts stay private. Business parts go to the business.

    An app on every device

Install it like any other app, on whatever device is in my hand.

    The camera, the same way

Plug in the camera and the footage files itself. Copied, checked, sorted by what's in each clip, and sent to the editor.
